Twice a year I host photography workshops for those who would like to make the most of a great hobby. There are four sessions held over two Saturday mornings in both early April and early October.
The first workshop is all about getting to know your camera better. We look at many of the features of a digital camera and how to use them when making your pictures. Then, after a short break we explore composing images in the second workshop. After the in-class sessions, we go out to lunch and then to Lemon Park to put what you've learned into practice.
The following Saturday is all about editing photographs. In workshop three, we do basic edits in Lightroom and Photoshop. And, in the final workshop, we get into more advanced editing techniques.
As the workshops near, my web site will include more detailed information and a form to sign up. If you'd like to learn more, or to sign up early, please email me.
Every Halloween, there is a Trick-or-Treat Trail in downtown Pratt. This is a fun and safe way for the kids to dress up and trick-or-treat at local businesses.
The Pratt Area Chamber of Commerce has been good enough to let me set up in their offices. Here, parents and their kids can stop, grab a piece of candy, and have a quick picture taken in their costume against a festive backdrop.
Best of all, it's completely free! Just give me an email address and I'll send a digital copy! It's always a lot of fun for everyone!
